Brought to life by boutique design studio Jajo & Co and constructed by Dynamic Build Group, this home is a masterclass in modern residential design, where clean lines, open plan living and material harmony come together to striking effect.

A fireplace that frames the home’s design narrative

⁠Installed in the main living room, the XL1200 ethanol burner is set within a custom-built stone hearth, creating a visual anchor between the lounge, dining and poolside areas. With glazing that reveals a view through to the home’s outdoor space, the fireplace extends the interior’s connection to nature while offering warmth and visual intrigue from multiple angles.

This project didn’t just require visual cohesion - it demanded functionality and flexibility. The XL1200’s flueless design allowed for a clean, vent-free installation with no chimney or gas line required. As a result, the team had complete freedom to integrate the fireplace within a sculptural wall that curves and softens the overall space.
