We use a blend of green cement, recycled materials, and Fluid Concrete Technology in our lightweight concrete finish which resists scratches, stains, mould, and mildew. Our wood tables are made from Grade A teak, a naturally durable wood that withstands extreme weather without losing its strength or beauty.

A Bioethanol fireplace is an open fireplace that is fueled by bioethanol. A real flame is produced by the lighting of bioethanol, with a by-product being heat in the process. It is a fireplace that needs no flue for exhausting emissions, no utilities such as electricity or gas connection, and it uses a sustainable fuel source.
What does an ethanol fireplace bring to a living space?
Any living space can include an open fireplace design now that ethanol fireplaces are widely available and accepted as an effective source of heat. Whether you are building, renovating or renting, you can introduce an open flame appliance at any time.
Can I uninstall my bioethanol fireplace and reinstall if I renovated?
Yes, you can do this by using a predetermined firebox with a bioethanol burner, which is the easiest way to install, refurbish and reinstall the fire again, due to its construction style and because it has no connections.
Does installing a bioethanol fireplace save me on construction costs?
Yes by using a bioethanol fire you reduce the need for multiple contractors, saving you time and money.
How safe are bioethanol fireplaces?
EcoSmart Fire’s operating tools, procedures, and proprietary technologies were developed with safety as our top priority. Made from 304-grade stainless steel, EcoSmart Fire’s ethanol fireplace burners go through a deep-draw fabrication process that eliminates the potential for dangerous leaks. Additionally, our patented filling point is separated from the ignition zone and engineered so that the jerry can spout is fully supported prior to releasing the fuel supply. This eliminates the usual splash and spills that would otherwise occur when fuel is decanted into the burner while simultaneously reinforcing the maximum fill line within the burner. EcoSmart Fire’s ethanol fireplaces release heat, carbon dioxide (the same stuff we exhale) and steam. Allowing you to enjoy a clean-burning flame without the soot, smoke, ash or other harmful substances emitted by traditional wood burning fireplaces. When selecting an installation location for your ethanol fireplace it is important to consider the required minimum room sizes and clearances. How does an ethanol fireplace work?
EcoSmart Fire’s ethanol fireplaces are self-contained, burning bioethanol fuel that is housed within the stainless steel container. A flame regulator controls and stabilizes the flame. With a designated filling area, and easy shut off mechanism, you can ignite the flame and turn it off in a matter of seconds. View this quick demonstration video to help illustrate the process.
Is their heat output similar to a gas heater?
Burning bioethanol is similar to gas, but the room doesn't dry out like it does with gas - a more gentle, softer heat is created. Heat-wise, it depends on the models being compared. Some of our bioethanol burners output 15,000 BTU and can heat up to 60sqm of living space. Bioethanol is not, however, on an adjustable thermostat. Some may be turned up and down, but you can't control the room temperature in the same way as you do with gas on mains
